Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Transparency Statement

This statement is to be construed as a transparency statement under Section 54 of the UK’s Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Ad Hoc Minds is committed to ensuring that it, its employees, directors, contractors and sub-contractors comply with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, as well as all other applicable laws in respect of slavery and human trafficking.

Corporate Structure and Business

Ad Hoc Minds is headquartered in the United Kingdom, from where we provide the majority of our services. In addition to the UK, we also currently employ individuals from a variety of countries within the European Union and as such we have the capacity to provide services throughout the European Economic Area.

Policy Commitments

Ad Hoc Minds will not accept slavery within its business nor within its supply chain.

Directors, staff and contractors are obliged to comply with anti-slavery and human trafficking legislation as part of our commitment to ensure legal compliance with obligations set out in applicable handbooks as well as in contracts with third parties.

Ad Hoc Minds has created a corporate culture whereby complaints (whether from suppliers, employees or contractors) can be investigated thoroughly.

Supply Chain Due Diligence

Ad Hoc Minds takes practical steps to ensure compliance with the Act, including identity checks in respect of all individuals wishing to provide services via Ad Hoc Minds.

Training

All of our employees receive training on all staff policies: these include all matters of conduct and fair employment practices. Staff are encouraged to seek guidance from managers or the Board of the company if they have any concerns, and to report all incidents in a timely manner.
